What is a WCAG level or conformance goal?

What is a WCAG level, what do we recommend, and how to change it.

A WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guideline) level is a referenceable web standard for accessibility - basically the higher the level, the better the level of accessibility.

A, AA, and AAA are the levels. 2.0, 2.1, etc, refer to different iterations. (For example, 2.0 was published in 2008, 2.2. was published in 2023.)

For most organizations, we recommend WCAG 2.2 Level AA.

If this needs to be changed you can do so in RAMP Settings under Conformance Goal, or within your Compliane Center under "Manage WCAG level".
