A WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guideline) level is a referenceable web standard for accessibility - basically the higher the level, the better the level of accessibility. A, AA, and AAA are the levels. 2.0, 2.1, etc, refer to [different iterations](https://www.w3.org/WAI/standards-guidelines/wcag/). (For example, 2.0 was published in 2008, 2.2. was published in 2023.) For most organizations, we recommend WCAG 2.2 Level AA.
