No, updating the status of a Jira ticket **will not** automatically update the status of the associated remediation task itself.    While the remediation task status remains separate, the status from the linked Jira issue is still visible within RAMP: 1. **In the Remediation Task Tab:** The new Jira status will be displayed in the dedicated **Jira column** within the remediation task table. 2. **On the Remediation Task Details:** At the top of the remediation task view, you can see the Jira issue status next to the external Jira link.
